Again, these files will import into iMovie and they will open in QT. These are files that previously imported fine, so something must have changed. Should none of that work, you can try using the program MPEGStreamclip to convert the video files to another file format (ProRes, if possible). So I load up FCP, go to File>Import>Files, and choose the 2 videos I downloaded. What is the best thing to do here to see if this is the problem? Rebooted and then dragged the FCP.app back into the Applications folder. I can play the DV file in quicktime.
